Trap Shooting
by Dave Nystrom

Walt Ross Memorial Trap and Skeet News

By the time this makes the Newsletter, we will have had the challenge shoot with Lynwood, Maywood and Lake Havasu City. We will have a complete report next month. Thank you everyone who has helped out this past month cleaning, weeding and painting. We weeded the trap and skeet walkways, cleaned up the fields, fixed the club house ceiling, painted the trim on the outside of the building, painted the main room and kitchen, and completely fixed and painted the bathrooms--aIl with volunteers. The skeet machines have been tuned up with new parts and anew base. Wednesday night shooting has been great. Several shooters have been shooting doubles and the ATA Big 50. Remember, you can shoot practice along side of a shooter shooting the Big 50. Shooters like shooting the Big 50 because you shoot 25 targets back to back. Wanted: Have you seen the weird thing stored behind the Skeet Field? Well it's a portable 100' cellular tower that we plan to make into a Duck Tower. Of course, this will be part of Game &Fish's plan
to have a 5-Stand Sporting Clay field. The Trap & Skeet Operation Group is in need of any block you have lying around to help constrict a trap house on the skeet field. The Group will also be in need of any PVC and electric conduit. The Trap &Skeet Operation Group is compiling an E-mail list for up to date information regarding the range. Any shooter that wishes their e-mail addr, ess included in the list, just send an E-mail to Target@citlink.net stating you want to be added to the list.

See You at the Range!
